Ray Williams RIP

I regret to have to inform the club of the recent passing of Ray Williams. Ray was admitted to Nevile Hall hospital in early March with a chest infection that developed into pneumonia and sadly he passed away on March 18th. Ray had been suffering from Parkinson's for the last decade of his life and had not been as active in the club as he would have liked but he still managed to attend the club lunch and prize giving each year and had a keen interest in watching the cycle races. Ray was the club 25 Vets champion in 1986 and again in 1988.
Ray's funeral will on Wednesday the 6th of April at 1.30pm at Victoria Road Chapel in Ebbw Vale (NP23 6UN) and there will be a a buffet afterwards in Willow Town Club
The family have asked for any donations to be made to Parkinson's UK in lieu of flowers.
The club would like to extend our deepest sympathies to Ray's wife and son at this difficult time.
