Saturday 10 Series week #1

The first club event of the 2009 on the fast R10/17 course attracted a good turnout of 16 local riders and a number of spectators. With over 30 club events on the calender, 2009 looks like being a busy year!

Club events are the backbone of the sport and Abertillery Wheelers have been sucessfully organising both club and open events for over fifty years.

Therefore it was pleasing to see so many local riders from newly formed clubs still eager to attend the events, and we look forward to being able to return the compliment by atending their events. The first opportunity to do so will be Pontypool RCC's 16 mile Circuit of Usk, held tomorrow.

Pontypool RCC are another local club with a long tradition of organising first class events.
