October Club Night

Club night October 9th..

A special General Meeting of the above club will be held at the Institute, Division Street, Abertillery, on Thursday October 9th, 2008, at 7-30 p.m.

This has been called to decide several items, concerning every member/

1. Due to Falling numbers attending the AnnualDinner & Prize Prsentation,and as agreed by the last AGM, we are looking to change this to more informal Sunday Lunch
2. For the same reasons we need an alternative meeting place to the present club room, and also consider a different format, such as a Saturday afternoon meeting, somewhere accessible by bike or car.
3. We need to attract some of the many Leisure riders into the club, and eventually introduce them to the sport. This is essential to avoid the club just fading away.

There could be other items and suggestions to discuss, and we need members to put forward their own ideas for the running of the club, to make its future secure for the good of its members, and for those who could follow us, and help keep the Sport and Leisure activity flourishing in Blaenau Gwent for many years to come.
