Once again the headwind on the fast section of the course put pay to any chance of a quick time. Gary Jones (M&D Cycles) was the only rider on the night to go below 24 minutes, with second placed Ian Davies almost a minute back. Martin Latewood just held off the improving Tony Hudson to take third place.
