Thursday 10 Series

A head wind and the threat of rain in the air resulted in slower times for most of the thirteen riders who contested week 3 of the Thursday series. Only three riders, Steve Baker, Martin Latewood and Nigel Pearce managed to improve on their previous times.

Ian Davies, once again showed his consistency by producing a sub 25 minute ride to take the win twenty seconds in front of the second placed rider Rhys Rowlands. Sharing third place were Gareth Chislett and Nigel Pearce who after ten miles of racing produced exactly the same finishing time of 25-19

Brian Phillips and Dave Evans, Pontypool RCC, once again continued their rivalry and for a second week running Brian managed to get the better of Dave by a single second.
