Abertillery Wheelers are assisting Bryn Bach Park management in running the cycling leg of Welsh Grand Prix Triathlon on Sunday 29th July utilising Bryn Bach cycle racing circuit.
We see this as another sport using the circuit helping to secure the future of this excellent venue.We are hoping at the end of the season to apply for a grant to resurface and realign the west section making it faster and removing the sharp turn which gives a dead start to the hill at that end.
To run the triathlon we need about 16 marshals and would be grateful for the offer of assistance from the cycling fraternity. The event starts at 10.30 and refreshments will be available for volunteers.
