The presence of roadworks on the course looked like preventing any fast times being recorded. Lukily the traffic light gods were smiling and every rider made it through on green! Ian Davies continues to dominate the series with another consistent sub 25 minute ride, putting almost 30 seconds of blue water between himself and second placed rider Gareth Chislett.

Stuart Inch produced a mid 26 minute ride, made all the more impressive by the fact that it was his first ride of the season. Once he gets his fitness back. he'll likely be challenging for the win.
