Results from the 10's held over the New Year period...

Gareth Chislett was the only member of the club to brave the elements on the fast R10/22 course at Resolven. Gareth recorded a time of 27:03 which was good enough to get see him finish in twelve place. The event was won by Sir Adrian Pengelly (Climb-on-Bikes RT) with a time of 23:38

Gareth obviously hadn't had enough punishment over the New Year and foolishly agreed to ride the Milers New Years Day 10 on the R10/9 course at St Athan as a 2-up with Martin Latewood. Looking at the start sheet, they quickly realised that there was only one other pairing taking part, which was the all female team of Sue Shook & Claire Greenwood from Bush Healthcare.

Realising that if they were beaten by the girls, the mickey taking would last for a very long time, Gareth proceeded to pull Martin around the course as fast as possible. A task that was made much harder by the fact that Martin was riding like an old woman and could only utter the immortal words "slow down"!

They eventually finished with a time if 27:22 and finished with a comfortable margin of almost two minutes over the girls.

The fastest rider on the day was Richard Beech (Ogmore Valley Wheelers) with 25:31
