As the new season gets underway, and with the demise of the R25/3 course for most of the year, three club members decided to pack their passports and venture across the border in search of fast courses.

The course proved to be more testing than was expected, or as Ross put it "I'm not riding that again, it was to 'kin hard!", nevertheless his recorded time of 1.06.43 was good enough to get him eighth place.

The event was won by Gavin Poupart, www.echelon-cycles.co.uk with a 57.57 who was the only rider to go below the hour.
