Port Talbot Wheelers 4up TTT - 22nd June 2006 - R25/3H
Fastest time of the night was set by the "pro" Glendene-Biketrax C.C. team of Alex Dowsett, Russell Hampton, Matt Rowe & Luke Rowe with a very impressive 47:04!
The Abertillery team of Ian Davies, Clinton Evans, Martin Latewood & Ross Phillips came home in 15th place, just missing going under 55 minutes with 55:01.
Gareth Chislett riding in a combined team with Pontypool RCC (We really must have two teams entered next year!) finished in 27th place with 1:00:18

A Cyclosportive event that a lot of people seemed to be taking very seriously!?!

Gareth Chislett finished in 196th place with a final time
of 5:46:16. This was an impressive time given the sheer number of climbs that the
route went over, and would have been even lower if he hadn't
wasted time on the section from Neath to Resolven trying to tow Martin
back up the field. Martin Latewood eventually made it to the finish with a
time of 6:13:35 (370th).
The "winner", Robert Jeffroy, completed the route in
04:53:22!
