The heavy rain may well have cost Andy Butcher, Cwmcarn Paragon, the course record in only his second ride in the Saturday 10 series. His winning time of 22m 45s was over a minute faster than the previous week and was only three seconds outside the course record held by Wayne Dudley, Newport Pheonix.
Ian Davies was the fastest Wheeler recording his quickest time of the series with a 25:24. The rain was obviously to the liking of John Heal who recorded a PB with 26:32.
