Course Record Broken

If at first you don't succeed is definitely Andy Butchers moto, after finally breaking the course record of 22:42 set by Wayne Dudley (M&D Cycles). He managed to knock over 20 seconds of the record with his winning time of 22:19!

The still evening was not the best for this course, where a tail wind on the road to Pontypool is preferred, which could lead to the record going even lower once the warm weather arrives, maybe below the 22 minute mark! Will Wayne Dudley be able to recapture the record, or will one of the club riders rise to the challenge?

Chris Absolom (Yeovill CC) took second place with his first ride on the course with a respectable 24:58. The fastest Wheeler on the night was Ian Davies who just scrapped under 25 minutes and beat Nigel Pearce by a slender two seconds.
