South Wales Crits #1 - Llandow

A strong head wind and frequent showers made for a miserable nights racing.

In the cat 4 race, Freddy Griffiths and another Schmoos rider attacked from the gun and a lead group of four riders formed with the rest of the field blown apart behind them. Gareth Chislett ended up riding much of the race by himself, but stuck in there to grab 6th place. A good effort given the conditions and more valuable points in the bag. Wont be long before he moves up to 3rd cat!

The 1,2,3 race was controlled from the outset by a strong group of six JIF riders who took turns at firing off down the road with the rest of the bunch forced to chase. Martin Latewood went out the back on lap eight and finally finished around 12th place aftre being lapped by the remaining bunch.
