At the recent AGM, an attempt was made to change one of the club rules, but as the originator of the change had not notified the Club Secretary within 28 days of the meeting the proposal wasn't allowed to go ahead. BUT, we decided to vote on it anyway just to see what the feeling was amongst those present, no records of the result were taken and no mention of the outcome will be in the minutes.

The originator proposed the change and it was quickly seconded, this quickly prompted an amendment to the proposal which was duely seconded. A lively debate ensued, and eventually the members present voted on the amendment...

You'll have to come to the next AGM to find out what this was all about!

The rumour mill was in full production at the recent Club dinner, where, as the wine flowed and the cross toasts got more exagerated, a number of people got together and hatched a plan that if it comes off will lead to some fundamental changes to the way the club operates.

If you'd been on the Sunday Run, you'd know what this was all about by now!
