Ian Davies used his current good form to record not only the fastest time of the night, but also set a personal best time for this course. His winning time of 23:14 was almost 45 seconds faster then second placed Tony Hudson, who managed to slip below 24 minutes for the first time since returning to racing.

Another big improver on the night was Martin Latewood who knocked another 40 seconds off his time to record his fastest ride since April. Gareth Chislett recorded a slow time of 24:18 which was the first time he has been outside of 24 minutes for quite a few weeks.

It was a disappointing night for the visiting Pontypool pair of Dave Evans and Geoff Rees who were left to fight over the minor placings.
