Welsh Cyclo-Cross League Rnd 2

After the torrential rain that greeted the riders at Brynbach park, round 2 held in the grounds of Llysdinam Estate near Newbridge-on-Wye had more of an Indian summer feel.

The racing was fast and furious and Gareth Chislett put in a good performance to finish in the top half of the field.

The highlight of the race was the group of "experienced" riders loitering near the finish in an attempt to miss out on a final lap. Unfortunately for them, winner Ben Simmons (Lifeforce RT) had a better trackstand, until he was finally shoved across the line.
