Another hot summers evening saw a good mix of local club riders tackling the circuit course between Hafodyrynys and Pontypool. The Pontypool RCC duo of G Rees and B morgan were off first and recorded a time of 28:16.

The solo riders enjoyed a close run contest, with Ross Phillips setting a PB for this course and getting under 24 minutes for the first time, but it wasn't good enough. Ian Davies took the honours by just 5 seconds.
Another rider to PB was Matt James, who drops below 27 minuites, his third PB in as many weeks!
