Cardiff Byways 25 - R25/3H - 5th Aug

Near perfect conditions greeted the years largest field of riders, 215 men and women, in the Cardiff Byways 25 on the fastest course in Wales. The R25/3H course gifts the riders with a free descent of Glynneath bank before hurtling down the valley to turn just before Neath. If the wind is in the right direction, the return leg can be just as fast. Ian Davies and Gareth Chislett seized their opportunity for a chance of a fast ride, with Gareth knocking a minute and a half of his previous best with a time of 57-35. Ian not only managed a PB, but also recorded the fastest ride this season by any Wheeler, 55-51, and must now be confident of picking up the club 25 trophy.
