Ian Davies stormed into the lead in the club 100 competition with an excellent 4:22:34 in the Welsh CA 100 on the R100/8 course. At the 50 mile point, Ian was trailing Tony Hudson by over five minutes and looked to be struggling in the blustery wind, but after discarding his aero helmet he clawed back thirteen minutes. Tony produced an impressive 4:30:41 in his first ever 100 and seemed to be riding well within himself.
