Motor Paced Hour Attempt

Our Welsh based pro rider Magnus Backstedt will be attempting to beat the current "World one hour derny paced" record at the Wales National Velodrome on Saturday 29th October 2005.

Magnus' promotional team have revealed that the record attempt will form part of an evenings entertainment when a full programme of racing is planned that will boast some top names from the World of Cycling.

The club is planning to attend the event, and Wow is organising a bus for the evening. This is strictly on a first come first served basis and will cost £5 for the bus which will hold 16 people. Tickets for the event can be purchased from the reception at the Velodrome and are priced at £10 or can be purchased on-line by following this link.
