Newport Track Improvers League

Every Monday night from next week there will be track racing at the velodrome with an improvers league. Warm up from 6pm with first race at 6.15pm until 8pm.

The races will be split into three groups.

• Group C - Seniors and Youth A
• Group B - Youth Advanced
• Group A - Youth Novice

A Race program will be alternated on a fortnightly program as to allow some variety and will act as a progression for the Tuesday Track League for Seniors and Youth A riders. Cost is £4 Seniors, £2 Youth.

Newport City Council Track Leagues

The Newport City Summer Track Leagues will be commencing shortly (20/9/2005), with two leagues being run on Tuesday nights. Entries on the line are permitted at extra cost.

Entries should be sent to Chris Davies, NCTL Secretary, 68 Clevedon Road, Newport, South Wales, NP19 8ND with cheques payable to NCTL.

Events start at 18.30 pm with a 15 minute warm-up - racing will then commence from 18.45 until approx. 9.30 pm.

Pricing:

Riders must have British Cycling membership and hold a current racing licence. League membership (if not already a member of NCTL) over 18's £10.00, under 18's £5.00. Seniors £6.00 in advance, Under 18's £4.00 in advance. Entries on the line £10. Cheques should be made payable to NCTL.
