Whilst on tour in Ireland, three younger members of the club (who shall remain nameless to hide their blushes) spent all of their evenings planning how to work over one of the oldest riders on tour.

After carefull discussion and a lot of Guinness , the plan was hatched and a strategy that even Armstrong would be proud of was put into effect.

Rider A would go hard on the easier climbs and when he was brought back Rider B was to attack. Rider C was to be protected until he could sieze the moment and attack on the steepest of inclines.

Unfortunately, they didn't have the legs to pull it off and Mike Miles rode them into the ground!
