Social Events - 2004 Pre - Christmas Lunch On Sunday 12th December we gathered bright and early at the home of Glyn Williams. Then we worked up an appetite for our Sunday lunch riding about 35 miles on the road. Our host was Ron Roach, of the Racehorse Inn who is as famous for his cycling as he is for his cooking. (he rode in the Empire Games road race) Next year book your place early to avoid disappointment!
Club Dinner and Prize PresentationI'm sorry but you've just missed it. An excellent evening for all those that attended. Lawrence Maggs won the top prize in the raffle - a complete Nelson road bike. Unfortunately and unknown to him, it was his bike. That will teach him to leave it at Glyns and not collect it.
